No Time Like The Present!

Here we are! May 2020 and the world took a big, swooping, diving turn a few months ago!
I have heard from many friends who are ready to curl up under the covers, remain fearful and sort of give up on life as they know it. I, thankfully, have heard from even more friends who are excited about how these events have pushed them to pivot their business or daily life and the positive outlook they have as they forge ahead.
Admittedly, like many, I find myself somewhere in the middle. I had a few days where I just wanted to sleep and do nothing more; and other days where I decided to take action steps to pivot and look ahead. This blog post, a new podcast, and a website that I talked about for two years, are the results of my personal push to finally take some action.
It has been a cathartic experience! A cleansing of the creative receptors of my brain.
Taking an idea from paper to reality is not something I am immune to doing, I wrote a children's book three years ago, but somehow the concept of putting my idea of PLaY Like a Puppy(R) out into the world was something that needed a push.
I was allowing my own fear and apprehension, combined with a sudden burst of a lack of self confidence, cloud what I wanted to create.
As the picture shows, I finally had that moment, that day where I decided to "grab that pink feather boa" and bring this idea of PLaY Like a Puppy(R) from my own musings on paper into the big bright world. I figured, if I could grab a pink feather boa, while dressed in pajamas and slippers, and dance with my dog in front of a live audience, then I could probably manage to accomplish anything.
I look forward to what is ahead and bringing the fun and joy of PLaY Like a Puppy(R) to you.
Here's hoping you get your pink feather boa moment too!
Be well, stay safe, and PLaY Like a Puppy!
